John Streeter Manifold was at the centre of the early days of the Folk scene in Brisbane, as well as hosting the Brisbane Realist Writers. His hand-made lute-backed guitar, which had belonged to the poet Judith Rodriguez, was recently donated to the Australian Cultural Library.
